Air Conditioner
An air conditioner circulates cooled air through your home. Air conditioning efficiency is measured using a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER).
Heat Pump
A heat pump is an electric unit that is able to both heat and cool your home. Heat pumps work in a split system design (replacing the AC) to keep your home comfortable year round. Heat pumps can also be used with a furnace to create a hybrid system to allow for a higher level of efficiency.
Indoor Air Quality
Indoor comfort control is more than just temperature control - it means creating a healthy home by purifying and humidifying your indoor air.
Air Handler
An air handler circulates cool air through your home in the summer and warm air in the winter.
Furnace
Furnaces provide warmth to your home as part of a residential HVAC split system and work with both air conditioning units and heat pumps.
Thermostats & Zoning
Precise comfort control is available from the latest thermostats and zoning systems. Remote call in, wireless, individual area control - everything you need for perfect comfort levels.
Evaporator Coil
As air is passed through the cooling system, the coil extracts or transfers heat from the indoor air, thus cooling the air before sending it back into the home. The refrigerant then flows back to the compressor (which controls the pressure applied to the refrigerant) where the cycle repeats.
Packaged System
In a packaged system, all equipment is built into an outdoor unit and often located on the roof. The "package" provides both air conditioning and heating. A primary advantage of packaged systems is a single footprint which is ideal for homes with space constraints that do not allow for a traditional split system.
